All in all, it was a wonderful experience. The practicum's goal is to get us pre-service teachers ready as future educators. It was a learning experience that undoubtedly aided in my skill development. It improved my patience and taught me how to remain cool in challenging circumstances. Another goal is to learn about various customs and practices while being fully immersed in a new culture in a different educational environment. This is definitely a worthwhile journey.

The teaching styles and approaches used in the Philippines and Indonesia have many similarities and distinctions. I appreciate all the knowledge I gained, and I plan to use some of it when I teach in the Philippines.

The language issue has been one of the difficulties I have had during my practicum. Even if the kids are proficient in English, it can still be challenging to interact with them at times. Due to the fact that not all of the teachers can speak English, I also found it difficult to communicate with them. My time at the school, however, was fantastic since everyone there was very kind and accommodating.

In order to minimize culture shock and to avoid offending their traditions, my recommendation for future improvement is to prepare the next batch by holding a seminar about the culture and practices of the country they would be deployed to. To prevent confusion, I would advise the receiving university to give newly invited practicum schools extra orientation to the SEATeach Program. Additionally, I would advise having observers from the practicum school, such as the principal, as they are the most knowledgeable about the circumstances of their kids and are present for the pre-service teachers' performances throughout the program.

Overall, I am eternally grateful for this experience and I will forever treasure this memory. Terima Kasih, Kendari!
